What BigBoi means is that if you found someone who can do metal work and body work, they would basically take an oval piece of sheet metal (that fits the same oval as where the badge was) and they can tap weld the sheet metal in. Then grind down the welds, go over it with filler putty and bondo, sand, prime, and paint. That will give you the best results. However, there are some people who take the short and quick route and dont weld anything in. They just strictly throw some filler and bondo over the holes and sand it down so its smooth. That works, but its not the best for long term applications. smile.gif

i shaved my hatch this past week...and its a fair bit of work to do. the metal on the hatch is so thin, that it warps very easily.

I threw some body filler in mine when I had it repainted about 3 1/2 years ago. No bulges or anything yet
