I saw the kit today. Looks like a typical hinge. Just painted black. Not anything crazy, and I was told this was their new design, I could have been misinformed I guess? But as far as I know I saw the SR kit today.
I also saw a G ass kit on a brand new Z06 parked in front of the Verticle Doors factory. One of the owners was showing me just how damn nice they came out. I'd say a Vette door is about 20% heavier than a tib door. That kit was PERFECT. Not only that, but its a "Black Chrome" finish to it. This heavy ass door lifted right up like a balloon. It had total clearance and we scoped out my car door for similarities, and they were actually pretty close.
I'm putting my money towards a Verticle Doors kit.
Of all I've seen they are the best by far.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but is teamSR the same as Shark Racing? Cuz they have a vert. door kit for the 03 tib with other aplications to follow. Could be the same kit I suppose. I'm interested in a group buy for around $800. Not till spring time though.

Could be, but Team SR has had that there for over 4 months or so. I think that is not going to happen.

Hey everybody, I guess I should pay more attention to my e-mail. Shark Racing e-mailed me about new products they are carrying on Oct 13th, and guess what - Vertical door kits for our RD Tibs. They are $50 less than for the 3rd gen, ($1,050) but that's because they do not come with the wiring harness extention. So I guess you could probably check in on a group buy now. 8) However, I'm in the process of adding all my aftermarket parts I've bought these past couple months, so for now I'm spent. 
Like I said, I'd be interested this spring. Wouldn't want to mess with it this winter anyway. If you plan on doing to group buy really soon, I'll see if there is any way I can scrape up the money.

Seriously though where did this guy go. No offence to Agarwal, but he's doing the same thing with his ECU idea. This guy just dropped off the face of the earth, hope Agarwal doesn't do the same. 02.gif
