It depends on who put the sticker on there, and for what reason... It doesn't really matter, none of them are legal in Canada, but since about 2005 cops have stopped harrasing HID setups because of the prevalence of them on the streets in modern cars... I must look weird with a 25 year old Hyundai sporting HID's.



I know my ballasts draw about 65-70W, but I only measured it for about 15 seconds after turning them on - Not even the colour stabilized by that point, so maybe they do draw more until they have settled.

Most HID kits are 35w, and will draw less amperage than a 55w halogen bulb (or 55w curling iron, or 55w personal massager, etc.).
