That's great. I live in the boonies where it gets very dark at night, can't see all that well anyway at night and have a minimum tint going.
I've tried a few watts brighter reverse bulbs, put on some small 55w halogen fogs, wired to only come on in reverse and with the lights on. Still not good enough for me. I see they have 15w HIDs now. I think that would be great if it was a straight drop in bulb wise on my Gen Coupe.

Regardless of your speed, if you get caught, move over within a reasonable amount of time. You're holding up traffic.
Your outlook is the reason jackholes going 51 in a 50 think it's fine to hold up traffic. Everyone's definition of speeding is different. I don't care whether the a-hole in front of me in the left lane thinks he's going fast enough.

Hint: the a-hole in front of you doesn't care if you think he is going fast enough either. Just so long as my fabulous tailgating friends don't mind suddenly going SLOWER than adjacent lanes, they can follow as close as they like!
(/sarcasm)My rule is, generally: I'm going my speed, and it's either as fast as possible or as fast as can safely be pulled off in the current driving conditions, within a reasonable number of MPH of the speed limit. If somebody gets closer to my tailfeathers than I feel like tolerating, I lift off the gas until they get the message. I'm almost always in a middle/non-passing lane and the passing lane is there for a reason. In the fast lane, if I am speeding and somebody comes up with like a +15MPH delta vee, they are going to have to wait until I can get clear but the passing lane is for PASSING not for making sure other people don't speed . . . once traffic clears I'm likely to move out of somebody's way if they are respecting me by not riding my bumper. If somebody is riding my bumper, they are obviously a dumba**hole anyway and can find their own way into a clear lane.

If there are three lanes:
The far right hand lane is there if you want to go less than the speed limit, ie for towing or being an octogenarian.
The middle lane is for people doing the speed limit, + or - 5 mph.
The left hand lane is for passing only, or people who want to speed.
IMO, you can't really be mad at somebody for doing the speed limit in the left lane, provided they are passing somebody. If you choose to exceed the speed limit, then that is your own choice, but you can't expect others to break the law for your own convenience. At the same time, everybody must respect the passing lane and leave it as clear as possible.
The sad part is that the lane system isn't even taught/tested in Australia. A few of my mates that aren't interested in cars have recalled stories of 'really angry drivers that tailgate them all the time', sure enough the mates in question were doing 5 under in the passing lane. Its just...
Apart from rural truck drivers, nobody respects the lane system in Australia, it makes me genuinely mad.

If there's interest from the RD2 (not sure if RD uses the same bulb holder) crowd, I can see about having some holders for H1 bulbs printed from ABS. Just remembered one of my friends friends has a makerbot...

Waitwaitwait, your friend has access to an ABS printer, and we only learn of this now?
But seriously, that would be pretty cool. I'd buy a few bulb holders just for posterity's sake.
