I don't know the technical term, but I need to modify the piece of the car that hooks up to the hood latch. I need it to be lower. How do I do this??

 

According to the Hyundai shop manual, its call the Hood Latch... heh so you had it right! LOL

Theres two bolts on there (they are on the top, you can see them when you open the hood)... just loosen those and you should be able to move it up and down, left and right... then retighten when you get it where you want. wink1.gif

There is actually 3 bolts to loosen. One on both sides of the latch and another below it. Its pretty easy to get to the top ones but the lower one is difficult with the bumper on. I just had to make the holes longer in order for the latch to move farther up so my hood would latch.
