well my old lenses on my headlights were pretty much screwed to hell...

so well my dad wanted me to get new ones (i wanted them but couldn't really afford it)...well only option we came up with was to buy brand new ones. me being the broke college student that i am. he helped me pay for them ($190ish each)

NOW though i'm in a bind....i don't know whether to black out the housing again (i'm really not a fan of the chrome) OR to get some of the yellow clear-guard stuff. (if i black out the housing i'll get clear)

or maybe do the black housing with the yellow? any suggestions would be nice, i'm leaning towards leaving them the way they are and just putting on some clear clear-guard.

if anybody wants my old headlights for any reason (the housing is black) make me an offer.

 

new is definately good... but dayum, way too much money.

Couldn't you have just gone to a wreckers & cannibalised some 2nd hand ones? $400 would've been handy for other things...

 

i say just keep them the way they are.. it still looks nice.. and when they are that new i wouldnt want to screw around with them.. just in case..

 

yeah i'm thinking what you're thinking. keep them the way they are. they look pretty sexy. i'm gonna get the clear-guard for protection. 190ish was actually not bad at the time for brand new headlights. and the junk yards taht i checked aroudn in the area didn't have any.

my dad called one and they said... yeah we have one, but we aren't taking off the headlights.
