Default Headlight conversion....

Hey

I have a 98 Accent and was wondering if anyone has done a headlight conversion. i.e. stock to projectors? I'm looking around, I know there may not be anything specific for the 95-99 Accents, .....I'm curious to know if any other make headlights might work. I have been
checking for same shape and size, and am looking more at the Honda civics light housings.

So if anyone knows of any info, I'd appreciate it....FYI... I have seen pics of other Accents with lights, but nothing solid as to How tos Or any way to contact those I have seen. The most famous pic i've seen is a 96 Accent using Fiat Punto MkII headlights which is pretty much what I'd like to get. but seems hard to find, and those that are on ebay, most won't sell to the US.

Thanks

GDA

I know that one guy converted to XG headlights on his LC Accent, but it sounded like a lot of work and it came out nice but I don't think it really had any advantage.

XG Headlights? What do those look like? something I could search online for? Any pics of what he did?...if you remember where to find the pic.

I know some fabbing will need to be done, but thats no problem. I'm just wanting my X3 to have a different look. Mainly I'm trying to find something in a projector that will fit within this dimensinos.

Thanks, yeah I've seen that one. I asked him about the "electric turbo". But he has not responded back. But thanks, now I know what to look for.

Haha, the overpriced fan restricting his airflow? Don't bother.

Are the xg350 lights for a Accent or do they go to a different make vehicle? I looked on ebay didn't find much. Unless i put in different search keywords.

I noticed this pic listed in the gallery here, is owned by an Admin of this forum.

Can you tell me about the headlights on this or put me in contact with him? I'm curious to know if these lights
are Fiat Punto MkII headlights or not. This is basically what I really want to do. Any info would be great.

ThX.

They're the stock Hyundai XG350's headlights.

As said above, DON'T touch those "electric turbo" ... it doesn't work!

As for the projector conversion, it's been done numerous times, but there is no real DIY that I know of ... everybody uses different projectors and HID kits each time.

EDIT :

some DIY that might help you :
