most tire places can get any rubber you want in a day or two... When I went with my Bridgestone Potenza RE750s.. it took the local mom and pop place a DAY to order and get them... and they were that "oddball" 205/45/16

Smartest thing you've done yet man.

Really, you wanna trust the folks that you hang around with that don't know shit about Hyundai's or you wanna listen to those of us that are into looks AND performance?

Good choice.

Now I just gotta drop my biatch a bit.

When I first got my 16's they rubbed b/c of the tire size that were on them. They were 205/50/16 so I went with a 205/45/16 and they didnt rub anymore. I had the car lowered 1.75 then but the strange thing is when I got my 18's with a 215/35/18 they didnt rub at all. Except on sharp turns and up steep inclines. I then rolled the fender lip in a little and no more problems rubbing at all. The main thing to look at when getting wheels and tires is what is the off-set of the rim. I'm running a 18x7 with a +40 off-set they seem to fit nicely.

Hmm, good point. But I only have ONE tire rubbing. I think I found out why today and will investigate tomorrow.

Yea it all depends on what you want i have 18's with a 225/40/18 it rubs the inner plastic on sharp turns and i have also cought my fender deff. going with 225 or 215/35/18 next year ... if you are gonna get 16's still get a good profile tire and make sure it has good side wall protection thats the key i think

Yeah I got a 1 1/2" of side wall dont need much more then that. smile.gif I've had my 18's for two years and never had a problem with them. But when I had my 16's I bent them within a few months strange. I removed the plastic from the inner-fender wells and through it away. That way when it's aired out in the front I can drive it still without hearing it rub the plastic. I still have my 16's in the garage I'll probably put them back on when I get the turbo done so I can tear up pretty good and not really have to care about them to much.
