General Paint Question: PLS HELP!
My car door has recently been banged up. Instead of settling for the $800 repair bill, I am leaning toward buying a used door of the same color (cobalt blue).
Although the donor door is in mint condition, I have been told by a couple of people that even if the car is in pristine condition (as is my car), the paint will most likely not match due to difference in climate, weather elements, etc. Is there any truth to this statement???
Any help is much appreciated. beercheers.gif

Yeah, it is true, but you wouldn't know how close it is going to be unless you installed it. It might not be different enough to notice.

absolutely true! weather definately affects the paint of your vehicle as it does your engine and tires and whatever else. plus even if it doesnt seem like your paint on your car hasnt changed it can fade and change without your even realizing it right away
