Filler question

Filler question
I have body filler on the hatch (shaved the hyundai emblem and filled in the section) and the filler got wet. Do i need to grind off all the filler and start over? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I would....body filler is like a sponge and will absorb moisture....metal is underneath the filler (unless you sprayed epoxy first, which I doubt)....moisture + metal = what????

I don't like using a slug of Bondo that thick anyways. It never dries within a reasonable time for me and always seems to shrink some over time.
