Escort Vents Etc Part 2
Time for full prep.

Zach sanding the hood. Note how happy my guys are to be working on someone elses car lmao.

Painted and drying (all touch ups and blow ins.

And then it was time to wash other cars whilst the fans were drying the paint..
500WHP scooby wagon.

Radek's Eclipse.

And Zachs welded shut and repaired hole.

Coming next week.... OTEC paints a Tiburon Holographic then gets horribly drunk until the next day.. In stereo where available.

sorry man, but i think the only way those things will look good is if you grab some bondo and flush mount them, and then paint the whole car one color. very rarely do i ever see a car i like with bits and pieces of a diff. color on it.

Give him a chance, some of the red GK's do it w/ black accents, so he might pull it off. Personally I don't like the vents, but that's A because I'm a scoop guy and B just a matter of taste.
The car is going to be white based holographic flake, the headlights, tail lights, repeaters, mesh, door handles and rear view mirrors (and plate frames) are all going to be black.
They are flush mounted, that's how escort cosworth vents are.
Forgot to add, the rims going on are black too, so there will be plenty of color coded parts once the car is done.

Hmm, I dont see what you mean.. Theyre curved..
Anyway, I dont expect many to like them here tbh, It's definitely a Euro thing, as is the color coding I am doing with the black parts..
Infact 90% of the ideas I have had have all stemmed from cars I have seen back home in the UK, so it will definitely be different smile.gif

those vents look better then i thought they would man, but i agree you need to mold them and paint the whole car one color.
if they have to be black then at least mold them in there.

make it look as if the vents were part of the hood. lose the line, however small it is, between where they meet the hood. and then paint them white. i think they will look cool, and i like the idea of them, but right now they just look like some part you would find on an insect. they stick out like a sore thumb.
