Default Electronic Rust Control

So I have an electronic rust control module in my engine bay that has received some questions from people wondering what it was when they looked under my hood.

http://www.defenderplus.net

It was on the car and installed by the dealer. I have no review if its actually working, and my car wont see a single snow flake, piece of road salt, or even really be driven in the rain. Its garage kept and once the Fall comes, into hibernation it will go until the Spring. So I cant tell you if it will work as the website claims, but it was on the car and I got it for free. If it works, then cool. But since the car wont be in any type of bad weather, there's no real way of saying it works or doesnt.

Again...I cant say if its a skeptics dream come true or a work of genius since my car will never see any bad weather what so ever. I got it for free, so it really doesnt matter if it does or doesnt work since there was zero cost to me.

Could work, could not. I've heard some good things about them, but I have also seen some that have become loose and actually promoted rust at the spot where the connection was weak. Seeming how it won't see the nasty salt you should be fine.

It is possibly referring to this principle?

I got the electronic rustproofing from the dealership also. I don't know if it is working but it makes me feel better about rust protection as my car sees rain all the time. Only gripe I had with this thing so far is the damn sticky on the Velcro sometimes comes loose. I think this is due to the high heat in the engine bay. So I've been just checking to see if it was loose every so often but may have to find a new way to mount it soon.
