Hi guys,

I'm plainning to install a GPS navigation unit for my auto. Does somebody purchased the one on in dash navigation radio,2 din dvd gps, in dash navigation with bluetooth,in dash navigation stereo,in dash navigation with backup camera,

or Touch Screen Car DVD Player 2 Din SD TV USB IPOD BT CDC - eBay (item 250662882836 end time Aug-07-10 00:18:56 PDT)

They dont seem like name brand units. With navigation, I would only go mainstream like Alpine, Pioneer, or Kenwood. You take a big chance putting something in thats cheap because it could easily die on you or not have the quality you're looking for.

I've been burned more often than not when I've gone with non brand name electronics.

If it's not an issue for you I suggest just getting a regular window mount GPS and a nice head unit as two separate purchases. The navigation quality from a $1500 in dash head unit with navigation isn't any better than from a $150 GPS. And the $150 GPS often has more features and is easier to upgrade.
