^ can't beat the price of DDM. $35 is a small risk to take.

Wow, $30 for the kit from DDM is insane. Reviews seem pretty good as well. Now a couple questions that their website brought up.

1. My stock bulbs are 55w, DDM offers the HID kit with 35 or 55w bulbs do I have to stay with 55w?

2. What is an error code eliminator, do I need one?

Sorry for all the questions but HID's are all but foreign to me and I want to make sure I get this right.

Go with the 35w kit. The 2011 line has some sort of surge protection with the lighting system, and the 55w kits are more power then the stock lighting. You can use a 55w kit, but if you do, you will also need the harness to run the power straight from the battery instead of through the stock wiring. The 35w kit shouldn't overwhelm the system, as it is close to the power the 55w halogen delivers in the stock setup.

While I love the video on xenonsupply.com for an HID install on a 2011 Sonata does anyone know of a printable install guide?

Interesting Diode Dynamics has changed the price for the HID conversion kit. I don't see the $30 kit listed anymore ... now its $80

Whoops wrong site ... Found the $30 kit on DDM Tuning

F'n great I should have known the HID install went to easy ... after it got dark tonight I went out to see just how bright the headlights were ... saw my right hand (passenger side) front turn signal bulb constant on with the ignition turned off.

Being that it is late anyone happen to know if there is a fuse I can pull for the night to extinguish that light?

hope you found an answer already, lol...

How did you wire them up? There's a plug that goes into the back of the factory bulb. There should have been two wires in your kit that go into this plug. This plug controls the power to the headlight bulbs and when they come on and off.

From what I read in the other forum and my experience it didn't happen on initial turn on of the lights but closer to 20-30 mins afterwards. Like I said the lights came on when I turned them on at the console and worked great. For some reason though caused that one singular bulb in my turn signal to be stuck on.
