is it dangerous to drive around without your hood on?
I was gonna remove my hood to install some Foliatec mirror film on the underside and was wondering if I drove around for a couple of hours without a hood....is that dangerous to the engine? Obviously I wouldnt do it if it was raining, but could driving without it cause wires to come undone or the plug wire to pop off? I see alot of cars at the track (mostly muscle cars) run without hoods and I assume they probably do it for weight savings and to keep the engine cool. dunno.gif

I drove for a week without a hood. You should be fine. They wouldn't let me onto fort jackson because I was missing a body panel.
