ok about the erebuni copying thing. yeah ur right they do copy alot of kits and things. the reason for this is beacause it is alot cheaper to make stuff here then get it imported from japan, korea, etc. ur not sacrificing quality besides the fact that fiberglass always has its downfalls because it doesn't flex, usually needs trimming, etc. i mean check out erebunis site. they've been around forever and u can't get that big with a bad product. i'll tell you how the quality is when i get everything from them.

red tibby, please post some pics. even if its not on your car yet we need to see it. especially since the guy selling them on ebay wouldn't / couldn't go take a pic of it for me. i still think 3 minutes with a camera is well worth the 300 - 350. but he obviously didn't.

another thing. just to save everyone the hassle. DON'T buy off eBay. lemme clear that up. don't buy cheap CF hoods on eBay. i mean seriously who can make a good quality CF hood for $280.00-$350.00. think about it just wanna save mah fellow RD and RD-2 owners some time and cash

I agree. Wait for a reputable company to finally produce a good quality CF hood (Motiv, please?!)... that may take quite a while, but it will save hassle. Someone posted on here recently he's gone through 2 hoods that haven't fit at all, and he went through hassles to get his money back. Check out www.veilside.com for their hoods... they have a nice one with reverse scoop... looks very similar to BlackTibs hood. It's damn expensive ($720) but I would make a safe bet that it fits flawlessly (as my bumpers did)
