I am seriously thinking of getting a carbon fiber hood for my 2nd gen. I would like it to be reverse vented. Does any one have any experience with any c/f hoods, i.e. fitment, quality. If so, any feed back would be greatly appreciated. I am not in a rush for one, I would like to get it before spring time. i've just recently purchased the vis invader hood...i have the official website for the guy that is selling them on ebay if u would like it...i just have to find it again....i'll let u know when it comes about the quality and fitment

Let us know how the VIS hood fits......I have had 2 different carbon fiber hoods, one from sharkracing and one i got on ebay and neither have even come close to fitting the cars fenders or around the headlights. Thankfully I was able to return both hoods....however I am still looking to find a good show quality / fitting carbon hood.

Pics showing the quality and fit would be great if you can gert them.

Hmmm...I don't know what to think of that VIS hood. The scoop looks kind of funny. Need to see how it looks on a tib though before making a final decision. laugh.gif

 

Personally, I would love to get my hands on one but after hearing so many horror stories about how folks could NOT return it and even those who had to return them (I do NOT want to go through the hassle) it makes me very hesitant to make the purchase.
