Body Style Question
What year models fit as far as doors for 2001 Accent 2 door hatchback? Anyone "poorboyed" the power stuff over to a manual setup? Swap out complete door or move working parts over to current doors? Thanks
2 door Accents with power windows are RARE! Another member on a different site switched his manual windows out for power, he happened to find an Accent in the junk yard with a power window setup and took the motors and switches and door panels and switched everything out. I have NEVER seen a 2 door older Accent with power windows. I own an 04 Accent HB and don't really see the need of power windows?? Are you arms that short that you can't reach the window crank on the passenger side?!?

I think LC Accents did come with "power" options as ive seen schematics for it, just not in person. As far as parts go... "What Pas said". Also LC2 door panels will fit your LC, ive got a "project" sittin on the shelf and it invloves ripping that fugly fabric off and replacing it.

My LC2 Accent has power windows and door locks, My LC does not. I really miss the power options in the LC. I think there were more LC2's with power windows than LC's. The window parts should be fairly straightforward to swap, I don't know about the locks. It has to have some type of control unit. If I turn the key to the right once it unlocks just the driver's door, but turn it twice it unlocks both doors and the hatch.
