I know people have taken headlight assemblies apart to paint them, but I was thinking about putting some leds in the housing to use as running lights and turn signals. What all do I need to do it and how hard would it be? I'm looking to get a extra set of headlights to take apart abd paying the housings within the next couple weeks and want to do it all at the same time, the factory headlights are just too boring for me. Any thoughts or advice would be helpful. Thanks everyone, here is how the front looks right now

Well, I changed my mind on the lights. I'm going to go with some halos from diode dynamics. I'm going to do around the highs and lows with the multicolor rings, also looking at putting some leds behind the outside door handles. I will post pics when I get the time and money to tackle this project.
