I'm wanting to make some angel eyes for my headlights, but was needing some exact measurements of how big they're supposed to be. I wanted to have them made before pulling out my headlights so the car can still be usable. (Sorry, not going to go driving around without the bumper and headlights wink1.gif ) If anyone (FlyRyde?) knows the exact measurement (diameter) of how big the angel eyes (both hi and lo beam) are supposed to be, that would be awesome. Kspec says 80 and 115, but i'm not sure what that measures...
Also, are blue ones street legal??

2nd question: I'm wanting to wire these directly inside the car, not to the corner lights or anything, so I need to run a wire inside. I've looked at the DIYs but can't seem to find where a passageway through the firewall is on my car. I've looked inside all over, but I haven't taken the wheel fenders off yet to find where they run through. If someone has a picture of where it comes through inside and outside (I'm after the spot on the passenger side, but driver side would work too) that would be super helpful. I'm after the spot on both the interior, where it will show up, and on the engine side of it, where to run the wires to.
Thanks so much!

They should be the size of where the brezel ends closest to the light. Blue being legal I think it depnds on the state. I got pulled over for speed a while ago. He saw the blue but didnt say anything bad about them.

2, theres a nice passageway that bryan (viper966) showed me.

Look under the dash on the passanger side. In the right corner you will see a 2-2.5" rubber circle plug. That opens up to the inside of the passanger side fender, which in turn you can run into the bay quite easily.

Youll have to take the top bolts off the fender and the bolt off the inside by the door to get the fender to open up far enough to grab; your better off taking the whole fender off.

heres a pic of what it looks like on the inside,

Awesome, thanks for the help so far, particulary alex01tib! That's exactly what I was after. But I have to take off the whole outside fender to get at it easier? 02.gif Such is life...

Anyone have a dimension on the angel eyes? is 115 and 80 (from Kspec) the diameter? Or what is it?

Thanks!

Sorry, but I dunno if Chris is going to give you his mesurements. The angel eyes are not exact circles anyways. He had many many many trials before he got them right. Plus making sure you get the notching correct so that they will pass the light right and look correct, lood luck. hehe.

I don't mean to say you can't get them done right, but if you want them to look 100% and save yourself a world of hassle, I highly recommend getting the Flyryde Angel eyes. http://flyryde.com/carparts/Products...s.asp?catid=39

Here in california, having blue lights on the car while moving on a public roadway will get your a fine. But if you only turn them on when your not moving and on private property, your fine.

Yah Ive used it twice, and after cutting up my arms trying to fvck with it without taking it all the way off i wish i would have just taken it all the way off, its much easier and your not fumbling in the dark and you wont end up looking emo on your wrists. lmao.gif

I have mine hooked up so whenever the aux lights are on mine turn on, much easier. Also if you dont mind drilling you could always drill through the bottom of the car and run the wire through that.
