Actually, when I do work like that, I do it in a professional shop under the guidance of certified mechanics. I am not a certified mechanic, but I KNOW how to do it. I will even take pictures of the installation and the transmission on a actual transmission jack with the car on a 4 point lift. That's as professional as it gets.
You're probly right about the answers they will give. I'd hope to find some good honest information.
I still have about 2 weeks before I make a decision on a clutch. This looks like the best bang for buck so far. What really makes a good clutch? One that holds your power right? They call this a stage 3 which means it's got to be better then stock.
So, if I do go with this clutch, I'll have to apply some good old fashioned Army composite risk management. This will reduce my risk as a consumer. You've already done step 1
1. Identify hazards. 2. Assess hazards. 3 develop controls and make decisions. 4. impliment controls and 5. supervise and evaluate. #5 dosn't really apply to this.
1. not installed properly -pictures, receipts, credentials
2. mistreated - proper break in procedures, records of my recent alignment, new tires, pictures of my vehicle at car shows, I should get a dyno showing my hp levels and my track times as well as this is advertised as a racing clutch
3. not broken in properly - Help me out here? How can you prove driving habits? I can request the break in procedure from them which would add credability
4. Inbalanced input shaft- I need to figure out how to verify proper input shaft balance
5. clutch blowing up - pictures, credentials, my uncle is a lawyer, in irvine california.....
The city which this guy is from, is the same city my uncle slams the law against do-badders.

When you drive like a moron, act like an idiot, and won't listen to folks when you ask for their advice what else can you expect?
This thread is closed. You've been told, and warned many times in the past for asking for advice, then refusing to take it.
Again, your next warning gets you 2 more months off, and any moderator here is welcome to give you that warning. You go the cheapest route you can, at all times, and b**** when it often doesn't work. ENOUGH>
