Winter oil...need some opinions

well as the topic states.. what oil do you guys run in the winter..and what do you think is the best for overall performance.

If it gets below -20c where you are (I know it does here in Quebec wink1.gif), you should use a 5w30 or 5w40 oil. 10w30/40 is rated for -20c min, where 5w30/40 is rated for -30c.

Windchill is not a real temperature, it's just "how it feels" but actual air temperature is whatever the temp is.
But dito on what Agarwal said. 5W-30, you'll be fine.

I run the same oil in the winter as in the summer. 10w-40. Unless it gets colder than normal here. If it drops some I may go down to 10w-30.
