By spring time i plan to have CAI(already own) Headers, Exaust, Airram, BBTB, 1.8 intake cam. Im going to buy it all and keep it in my room and install them all at once in the spring. Just wondering if i'll need an safc after i install these mods. Also curious about Reseting my ECU i've never done it before but if i get my car dynoed will they reset my ECU and tune my SAFC?

you won't need a safc but it wouldn't hurt.

Reseting the ecu is a simple as disconnecting the battery, pumping the brakes a couple times, turn on headlights, etc. to use any residual power. then hooking it back up. it just erases what the car has learnt and makes it start over to accomodate your new mods.

Depending on your A/F ratios.....Yes.

It maximizes your fuel.

I think you'll need a widebank O2 sensor to get it tuned.

you'd prob. get about 8+ hp from it. and it would help you tib run better. so I'd say yes, plus they just look sweet. consider it an interior mod and you've got 2 birds with one stone! laugh.gif

anyways yes if you want to get the most performance out of your current mods any type of AFC would work. E Manage, S-AFC, SMT-6 etc...

i know this is a noob question but whats the difference between an Safc 2 and E management? I know they are two different units but what exactly do they both do? I know that the safc 2 controls your air/fuel ratio's but what about the E management?
