4-1 Headers
Bored TB
Bored/Polished Intake Manifold
Underdrive pulley (I personally don't reccomend).
Nitrous....

Then things start to get expensive with Turbos, Superchargers

I've always believed front to back. Start with the intake and work your way back.

I did filter (since upgraded to CAI), BBTB, bored intake manifold, and now I'm looking at the exhaust side. I'm either going with SR 4-2-1 headers, my own turbo, or the alpine turbo kit. After that, I'll do exhaust.

Some will say, intake, exhaust, then TB, IM, and headers. Depends on your preferences to both noise and power gains and available funding.
