where do i put the air sensor

i want to make a home made air intake, where should i put the air sensor and how do i mount it.

If you connect the CAI to the maf, then run it into the fenderwell via a hole in the plastic engine shield, it should support itself.

Put the IAT in the intake air stream within 6" BEFORE the MAF.
