will the 1.8 cams and ecu be better for the 00" elantra.Will the ecu plug right in with no problems.

Don't expect any more than 10hp, more around 5ish, and corresponding torque (don't know the numbers as well).
Nothing huge, just a little extra pull on the top end (3k+ rpm)
