Default What gives a bigger gain?

Just wondering what you get a bigger gain out of as a combo. Headers and Exaust,Or a Airram and bbtb. I know that they say that an airram gives us n/a setups the biggest gain but what about as a pair?

I have already purchased my headers and exaust and will be installing them as soon as it warms up. But now what i want to know is when i purchase my airram and bbtb should i be expecting a bigger gain then what i get out of my headers and exaust or smaller?

You will probaby see a biger gain out of the bbtb and tb simply because you already have your exhaust opened up. Basically which ever you put on first out of the two sets you will see a bigger gain out of the other.

Well I would have to suggest taking a little bit form column A and a little bit form column B. Keep in mind that what you pump into your engine has to exit the engine too. The Airram and BBTB will definitely help you a great deal.

Hmm... I have to go opposite here... I personally would think the H/E is going to get more gains than a TB/IM in the Tib's case, assuming you have an intake. The intake path is less restrictive than the exhaust path, stock.

I agree with hamhead. The exhuast is more restrictive than the intake side right now. I think you'll really feel gains when you get the Airram installed with the BBTB.

it's good to have both..you're getting more air in with the AirRam/BBTB and getting the exhaust out faster with the header/exhaust.
