Not to go offtopic, but I was talking to a friend of mine today who was lamenting that his driver had just killed ANOTHER clutch on his truck (box truck) he told me that the flywheel on that beast is 125! pounds... I can beleive him, having driven a similar sized truck. They do NOT like to rev.

And yes, I would like to see some numbers on the VHR...

And you bring up a good point REDZ... how much does the stock clutch weigh as opposed to some of the aftermarket?

stockers are at around 16.2 - 16.5 lbs for all 3 betas
lightened stocker around 13lbs (safe/conservative lightening job)

That's close to what mine ended-up at. From what I was told, it went from around 7.25kg to 6kg, which is about 13.2lbs I think. It's a noticeable difference so getting one that's half that weight again would make a huge difference.

I want someone to weigh their VHR Flywheel.

I know the entire package, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, tool, packing, box, wrapping paper, and postage, weigh 26 pounds.

Hey Redz!
I have the Flywheel and it weighs 9 pounds...
I just checked laugh.gif
