guys becarefull as i was reading the post everone has made good points, JDM Clutches direct from Japan..... something smells... RedZ or maybe i am just being to pairnoid, ..

you guys know that for us useing the 2.0L we can use the stock 1.8 L flywheel. i belive it about 5~6 pounds lighter then the stock 2.0 flywheel. that is what we do here and i have also done it with no problems at all none.

If it's "JDM" then it easily adds twice as much power as anything else on the market... I have a JDM shift boot that adds triple the amount of power of any other, at least! lol.gif

Not like he would have said much anyways.

But yeah, it's several pounds lighter.

i thinik the stock one weighs like 16 lbs or so... and its pretty hefty, definately get a alu fly tho, thats what all pro's use, more reliable, better with heat, go for it

Shaddoh and I talked about flywheels at length. His 1.8L Flywheel that he thought was "light" was.... 16 lbs. The stock 2.0L Flywheel is... 16lbs.

Its the same flywheel.

if i remember right.. he also claimed to have weighed it.

I think he spit out that it was 11lbs?

pretty funny coming from a guy demanding sooooo much proof.

stockers are at around 16.2 - 16.5 lbs for all 3 betas
lightened stocker around 13lbs (safe/conservative lightening job)
fidanza is more around 7 - 7.5 lbs

I want someone to weigh their VHR Flywheel.

I know the entire package, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, tool, packing, box, wrapping paper, and postage, weigh 26 pounds.
