anyone know a good retailer to get a good exhaust for and 02 elantra (beta2 motor)that wont through a CEL cause ive tried and tried agian to get this one to work and not throw a CEL and have prob spent will over $2000 in the procces.
LOL when you install the 2nd o2 sensor, or the one after the cat you will need this....
No more CELS
This will keep your CELS away, no need to spend money on exhasut if you remove the cat, you get a cel, yet it is easy to fix. No worries there!!!

Be sure the sensor throwing a code is actually working, and that the converter is rated for the application, before spending more money on a new exhaust.

To answer you question if you have a Cat, you should not need the sensor extender bung, I would read the codes and make sure the wires to the sensor are in good shape then if the wires are fine and you come up with a code saying something about the specific sensor try to find another wheither it is new or used to do some pop and swap testing!
I am running my stock sensors on a 3" straight pipe and just use a senso extender on my secondary or after Cat and i have never had CEL for a inproper CAT, That was the best 15 dollars i ever spent.

i have a pipe without a cat on it i might try to use that i guess and see if it works out with the sensor extender seeing as im guessing you dont have a cat on your car correct?
