definatly all good ways to make your car into a drag slut.. good for only going straight a quarter of a mile at a time.

Personally, I would use a 1.5 limited slip diff and the yaya motor mounts before I welded anything.. the stress on everything.. including the body of the car.. would not be something I would want to see

Weld the mounts? LOL the poor Tibby would be vibrating like hell. Especially if he said mounts, plural. Ive got the front and rear mounts on the GSX filled with polyurethane (most people do that... mostly just the front though) and it'll vibrate your seat. I had to though because I broke like one every few quarter mile runs. Those YaYas look like good mounts, I'll probably buy one for the front of the Tibby.

I like the Yayas.. I am intending on getting some.. going to start with one of the roll stoppers and then go with the other if I do not get enough stiffness.

Do you guys know if the tib and elantra share motor mount. They don't list one for 99-00 Elantra.

I am guessing that the turbulence mounts will work.........anyone?

Hmmm.... that I don't know. If they don't, you could always do your own. You can take the stock mounts out, fill them with poleyurethane, and put them back in to stiffen them. Worked on my GSX since I cheaped out. Just as good as aftermarket ones, well 70-80%.

Yeah I kinda don't want to fill em up.

Thanks for the reply.

Just wondering if you talk about your tib all the time on the DSM forum?

If your buying a mount they usually are poleyurethane filled. Think of it as the same premise as making your own CAI, it helps, but its not as effective as an AEM, etc.

Since the 4G63T and the Beta are similar, I can talk about certain things that I've done to one car that would work the same on the other. Motor mounts are the same design on both cars, so advise based on one car can work on the other.

welding the dif will turn it into a possy basically. which means that no matter what happens both wheels will have equal power all the time instead of diverting power to the wheel that slipping.

an lsd is a better choice
