well we finally got it out. the throwout bearing fork was jammed so we beat the hell out of it and took everything apart till we got it out. the cause was nates (socks) cutch completely breaking off and going through the pressure plate and bell housing.
heres some pics. im sure socks can explain more.

Okay...this would explain WHY the damn thing wouldn't come off.

Uh...how did he manage this "feat"? Even Jaws021 didn't manage to explode a clutch enough to punch through the bellhousing!!!!

OWNED.. lol

yah i dont really understand it..

but yah, new pics of the beta II trans will follow probably friday when i get it..

basically, the puc was wedged in the pressure plate and through the bell housing, so even when the fork was unhooked, it was held on with that part of the puc, until we cracked the f***er off..

and about chiselling the bell housing.. yah it sounds ALOT easier than it actually is.. imm gonna go pick up some new flywheel and pressure plate bolts tommorow, just so i have all NEW stuff in the tranny side of things, and my bushings are going into my dad to get some machined from delrin. i will be removing the counterweight, if i can figure out what it does, lol.. doing slave cyl. mod, and replacing some bushings in the actual shifter.. i cant wait for the feel of a new transmission.. w00t.

Notice the two bolts missing out of the flywheel? Those should not have come out even if the clutch managed to explode. I've grenaded 3 clutches to pieces and never have they backed out.
Someone must have not tightened them down, or you need to use some locktight next time.
One of those bolts coming out would have bent up the plate enough to open it up and release the disk. Or it's even possible that one of the PP bolts backed out.

Another question is, why are are you using a 4 puck disk? That's not meant for daily driving. And I know you're not running enough power to warrant it. A 6 puck has far more surface area and wouldn't have shattered off one of the pucks.
