I'm currently doing a transmission swap (auto to manual) in my 99 Tiburon wondering if our cars have pilot bearing that goes between the crank and the flywheel?

thanks for your help.

depending on where you got your manual trans from there is a difference in crank size. 35mm and 41mm are the two differences and you may have a flywheel that is too big for your car. i found this out personally also so i know what you are going through.

basically take a pair of calipers or a 1"-2" micrometer and measure to the shaft to see what size you have.
