so i get my clutch and flywheel installed. Before I leave the shop I ask the guy if I should baby the clutch (shift at like 3 grand every time) for 500 miles before i really get on it. so his reply was "no, do you think the guys on nascar do that" So after thinking, the clutches for nascar are used for maybe one race and so is the dam aluminum blocks that they use. I think he is just trying to get me to burn it quicker to come back quicker. so eff that guy im gunna baby it lol. On another note, the clutch grips hella hard and i feel like im in the process of learning to drive stick all again for first gear. ive only stalled it once so far lol. oh and if anyone was wondering i have an act clutch with street disk and a fidanza flywheel

Nah dont listen to him, take it easy for at least a couple hundred miles. And yah his logic would make you think "hey race cars dont use airfilters so i wont either!"

apples and oranges...
