my tranny is screwed, so i ordered a used one, and i need to install it on my own, to save 380 euro here in germany by not having the hyundai dealer do it for me. a co worker is going to help me, he installed a new tranny in his new vette on his own. any suggestions or write ups or books to suggest would be GREAT. thanks. oh sorry if its already been posted, i don't have much time to search here at work, and i dont have a pc so i cant look long. thanks guys

Old Darmstadt, I lived there for 3 years. But back on topic, the tranny uninstall/install is straight forward. You just have to make sure you take your time and remove all the bolts and if you unhook the slave cylinder be sure to bleed the system really good.

You don't even need to search.

Go to the DIY forums, click on the "Approved DIY Listing" and LOOK.
