Thats exactly what mine did before it went. Dont drive it anymore all it will do is just strip everything and break everything inside. Mine was so smashed up inside, I should have got it towed right away. That would of saved me alot of money when they rebuilt it.

I have nothing else to drive though man, for the next three days I dont really cause my dad took the keys for the Sentra with him on vacation by mistake. Tomorrow Im planning on going to this transmission place so they can check my tranny for free and tell me whats wrong before I decide to go to the dealers.

The thing that amazes me is this all just happened all of a sudden..everything was fine with the Tibby and then bam. Eh. mad.gif

Do you have AAA? If you do they will tow it for free there. Dont risk it.

Nope I dont have AAA unfortunately.

But should I get it towed anyway? I didnt think that I could do anymore damage to it but driving 4 extra miles. Towing is expensive without AAA..hehe.

Why are you even worrying?
At 49k, Hyundai will replace everything bumper to bumper if it malfunctions. Just go to the dealer, tell them the tranny is crap (maybe not want to tell them it was serviced?) and that you want it fixed.
Might have to live without your car for awhile, but a brand new tranny will feel pretty nice.

Either way, Hyundai AT's suck..swap!

I'm not worrying, Im just pretty frustrated because everything was fine until now, all of a sudden. I dont enjoy going to the dealer's either..personally I'd love to just get a 5 speed right now and ditch the autotragic. mad.gif

hehehe if I only had the money to do the whole 5 speed swap...
