Oils topped up so...Oil filter? HLA?
And if it's the HLA's, how much would that cost to fix?

How many miles are on it?

Did it start after an oil change or creep up over time?

Does it happen
- at idle only
- anytime you're stopped
- anytime the car is started
- only when the engine's cold?

Does it get louder/faster with speed/revs?

Might wanna replace the oil filter and get one from napa or something.. napa oil filters are good
make sure you get the correct size of you'll get that sound cause of oil flow restriction at the filter

!

You will know it is not the filter if you get the OEM filter. Seriously, it's a good unit.

I use a purolator pure one sometimes, but I also hit my dealer up for 4 or 5 when they were on sale for 1/2 price so it's OEM for at least the next couple years for me!

Thanks everyone! Afer the oil had time to circulate through the system and soak overnight the noise is almost completly gone! I think once I throw in a new oil filter it'll be fine =D. But it has been quite apparant that the previous owner didnt do regular upkeep... especially on fluids. Which kinda scares me considering it's got 263xxx km and it's only an '00
