Were there any adjustments or additional mods that needed to be done upon installation? I plan on installing it this weekend and wanted to know what to watch out for. Thanks.

Just one thing to make 100% sure of:-
Make sure yuo get the cam timing 100% - look carefully at the markings on the stock cams, and make sure you make a note of where the markings are for TDC on the GT cams! The cams should have notches in the sprockets which both face a direction together when at TDC (I think this is towards the rear of the car, but don;t quote meon this) and then the cam nearest the front of the car will have a small hole in the sprocket which you can look through and see a marking on the head itself - also at TDC. Just check these markings out and make a note of them and their positions so that you don't have any OOPPSEYS when you start the engine.
Also the running chain holding the camshafts together on Cylinder 1's end of the head - make sure it is tenstioned correctly when installing the cams, the top and bottom need to be equal tentions if that makes any sense.
Just before you put the tappet cover back on the head - take a spanner and turn the engine over two to three times SLOWLY to make sure that no valves are touching piston landings (this is just a confirmation test to make sure the cam timing is 100% correct) once this is OK - you can put back the cover and start the engine!
Thats about it - as far as I can say.
PS:- taking out the plugs will make life easier when turning the engine over.

LOL!!! That ws pretty funny. Anyway, I installed the cam Sat. the only thing is that from a dead stop there is a lag when you get on the gas. If it is from a roll or around 40mph you have to press the gas, let off a little, then get back on it and the car launches. Does this seem normal?

Give the car a week or so to get used to the mod. let us know if it is still doing that after a week.
