Default Are there any switch controlled exhaust valves?

I know there used to be a company that used to have a valvetronic exhaust that uses a electronic solenoid to open and close a valve so it would actually change the tone of the exhaust for race purposes or normal use.

Do they sell these types of pipes anywhere that have a simple open/close system? this would be awesome for those who want more power for the track but can flip a switch and be both legal and a quiet daily driver...

Just thinking out loud.

OH, and has anyone ever seen a varex muffler on someones car?

still basically a waste

youll see little to no gains for the price you pay to get a valve like taht welded on

now if you get one for cheap and know how to weld

might be worth the 1% in gain

i still stand by the fact that a GOOD MUFFLER is better than straight pipe any day

mainly for the fact that it wont annoy the hell out of you and other people around you, even when racing

i used to see TONS of open header v8s at the track run 15s lol

heres some hard facts for ya

2 “ Straight Pipe 521 CFM
2 ” Inlet/Outlet Ultraflow 512 CFM (my current muffler but im rocking a 3")

ill sacrafice 9 cfm for some hearing/not sounding like a d bag

The electric cut-out actually works great when placed before the cat on boosted cars.
