No because the only difference between the regular Beta & Type-R is the 1.8L cam, bigger exhaust & different ECU.

If you are confused, it is because you need to educate yourself. There are lots of posts around this message board dealing with the differences in stock camshafts. Use the search feature.

There is no point is swapping the entire head, when the only difference is in the Intake cam. (ECU and exhaust too, but were' talking heads here).

Why spend the $$$$$ for a imported Korean Type-R head, when you are getting a Bone stock head with the 1.8L intake cam and the stock exhaust cam?

For $120-$125 you can use the Intake Cam from the BetaII motor, which has more lift and duration that either the stock 2.0L intake cam or the stock 1.8L Intake cam.

You can do it...but I just don't know why you would want to waste your money.
