About a week ago I flashed my first CEL... The guy at the store didn't tell me the codes, but told me the problem was my rear o2 sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 2). All he told me to do was to step up the octane the next few times I filled the tank and buy a fuel additive to clean the fuel rail and injectors etc...

code disappeared fing02.gif

TODAY, CEL reappears. Not ten minutes after the CEL appears the car starts driving with a little less Punch-In-The-Gut than it usually does. Within the next few minutes, the car physically cannot surpass 60 MPH or 3000 RPM. I'm being beat by twenty year old minivans at stop lights and I can barely make it up small grade hills (cannot accelerate up hills, and will usually decelerate about 10 mph before I crest the hill). The car runs Semi-normal up to about half throttle, after though, the engine gets really loud and sounds like it's bogging out. The RPMs do not climb and neither does my speed.

Got the codes for the CEL when I got home.
P0137 - o2 Sensor Circuit, Low Volts (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
P0136 - o2 Sensor Circuit, Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor2)

Going to reset the ECU in the morning to see if the code reappears. Also I was wondering if there could possibly be anything else wrong. A few members here told me it could be anything from the cat to the flex pipe, I dunno what to think and was wondering if I should go ahead and replace the o2 sensor or if there could be something else seriously wrong.

the secondary o2 sensor only has to do with emissions i belive... im running open headers right now (long story) and i have very minimal gas reaching my secondary with no problem. it sounds like a misfire but if the codes say its not then i dunno... do any of the electronics in your car act weird? try your a/c and everything and see if it makes any differences

idle does fluctuate when I wiggled the TPS hookup. I had a buddy hit the throttle while I was lookin under the hood today and I realized that the stock intake box literally jumps whenever it hits decent RPM's. I was wondering if maybe one of the hose clamps was loose causing the problem? or is that just normal

Idle fluctuating when you move the harness means the TPS or the harness connector is bad/loose, or something there is wrong.
