stock airbox
I know that there are 2 sensors and 2 tubes that are attached to the stock intake, and i was wondering if the sensor on the airbox could simply be removed? I was wondering this because i want to get a K&N cone filter and just take that off, but i don't want to hurt anything.

You will need to plug that intake air temp sensor somewhere in the intake stream if you want things to work properly.
I cut a hole in the back of my cone filter that is attached to the MAF and plugged it in there.
Good Luck

Well it'll be reading the WRONG Intake Air Temp.
Making it read hotter than it actually is, cuz it's reading what's in the engine bay and not inside the intake.
BTW, it's a 3/4* hole you have to drill and the OEM rubber grommet will fit perfectly.
