Starting And Idling Troubles
Like the title says, I've had idling problems for a while now but now my car will randomly not start. Last summer it would randomly drop to 0 rpms while idling and die. So i replaced my TPS with a Kefico and it seemed to help the situation but not fix it. Now the rpm's will drop to about 200 rpms and sometimes rise to about 500 and shake the car something fierce. That was a problem I could live with though (hey better gas mileage isling at 200 rpms right!?)
Now when I go to start the car is a crap shoot. I's say one time out of 10 it won't start. It will instead crank repeatedly but go nowhere. After multiple attempts to start it (usually about 15 or so) it will finally decide to turn over and run. Now keep in mind the engine is approaching 150k so I've been expecting some problems but not ones as random as this. I have recently replaced all of the belts and was trying to hold off til 150k exactly to change the plugs and wires but i think I may give that a try now to see if it helps any.
If anyone has any suggestions on what could be wrong (Throttle bypass, plugs, injectors, Crank angle sensor?) let em know. As for CEL's I'm reading these P0506 and P0734. I think they relate to the O2 sensors which i'm also planning to replace at 150k. Any help would be great. Thanks

why wait till 150k to replace the plugs/wires and the o2 sensors? replace them now, youll need to replace them anyway and if they dont clear up the problem then you know to look elsewhere.
shit i replaced my plugs for the first time at like 25k, and replace them regularly, and the wires i changed at 40 or so, and the o2 sensor at 35 i believe. Point is, you dont have to wait to replace stuff like that, esspeccialy since all three of them will perform less than optimally well before the point comes where they "need" to be changed.
