SR headers and MBRP catback; making it work?

well because of OBDII you're going to have a check engine light on all the time, as well as putting out a buttload of emissions. However, there are 02 stimlators which will trick your second 02 sensor into thinking that you still have a cat.
You could chop the cat and place a test pipe in its place, but most people on this forum are against that.

Well, I am trying to tell you what happend to me so you don't make the same mistake. If you are going catless get the computer trick. I dont know where to get them. Otherwise you MUST get a cat. Your engine will run like a bat out of hell at first, but then your CEL will come on, and it wont accelerate quite as good, and then your gas tank will be empty by the next day!
hehehe...just listen to someone that spent about $80 extra fixing the mess I made.

Ok first, you still going to have to do work on your exhaust if you have a aftermarket header and mbrp exhaust (cat or no-cat). Unless you stick with the stock headers, the mbrp won't fit. its designed for the stock header.
The second o2 sensor can be replaced with a fake simulator with no real performance hit. The first o2 sensor is the one that calculates how mutch oxygen is in your exhaust.
BUT and i really stress that you should get a highflow cat. You won't loose noticable power with a good cat and you also stay legal. Our cars put out a hell of a lot of polution when not using cats. Save your money and do your exhaust the proper way.

You might find what you need here. http://casperselectronics.com/cgi-local/st...product=IMPORTS
Keep in mind you won't pass e-check, and you might want to just go no-cat on race day.
