-IMO-.if it's based on the "random special" it might be worth the wait.. prior to the AEM intake, the "random special" had the highest hp gain. the mhp, kore, ect, once again -IMO-were/are glorified noise makers. i know i had an MHP (cough, iCK). for now
Injen: proven performance
SR: lets see what cha got wink
AEM: where my money would be going wink wink

I keep email customer service like eery week and a half and it takes them the same amount of time to get back to me with, "we hope to start production by the end of the week" or something similar. I'm not impatient. Just curious. I just want real info, whats going on. I understand it takes time, but when someone pays, Customerservice should update them, not the other way around. I just hate twittling my thumbs, thats all. School gives me something to do now, so its better (unfortunatly)

Yam. I'm saying that if you produced 300 intakes and then tested them afterward, you would have wasted a lot of money if they only produced like 4 HP. (Example)

So my POINT was, you DO in fact have only ONE SR intake that you are currently TESTING.

That's what AEM did. The 8.1 WHP gain was shown with their prototype. However, the actual production model, as tested by 4DoorGL (Rob at HP.com) showed a 12 WHP gain over stock intake.

Which makes AEM the Horsepower leader for intakes. tongue.gif

They've got more than one car specific production model, thats what Bradley means.

The injen pics here in another thread make it look just like the aos. Does it go in the fender like sr or down underneath like the aos ?

It sits underneath the battery tray in the engine bay, right behind the radiator fan, blowing hot air right at the filter.
