ok, well thx for the info ill go try it today, just gotta find the alternator belt now......

the alternator belt is the one that runs right next to the alternator.

man i popped the hood for the 1st time this month and i found out that when i mistakeningly went off a HIDDEN 1 1/2 ft drop with my car, it dissconnected my piping for my cold air intake......any one know wat i should do to help kinda clean out my engine b/c its been running for a month with no filter!!!!!NOOOOOOOO....ok i know is off topic redz but i WAS popping the hood to look at the belts.....smile.gif

Just conect it back up and keep running it. If anything got sucked in, it's to late now, and if the engines still running OK then you were prolly lucky.

get your oil changed too. i did that once. i looked under my hood and my bypass valve was sitting on my tranny. i got my oil changed that day just in case....

Put in a bottle of B12 Chemtool ASAP. ALso, get a rag or papertowel, with just a bit of oil on it and wipe down the insideof your TB and your CAI.

00Tibby, don't double post man, I understand you are sorry you did, but next time, just hit the edit button and add on. If you need to delete that post, hit edit, click the DELETE THIS POST box and delete it.

B12 CHEMTOOL, you can get it at any local car store, it's a fuel and engine cleaner. Put it in the gas tank. Change your oil, just replace it with whatever you usually replace it with.
