Default SOS straight through exahast valve

I was looking on ebay and i saw an exahast valve that can be installed between the headers and cat. When activated the exahast exits straight after the headers. it claims a 20-40HP gain. I emailed the guy and asked about lose of torque due to no back pressure. He said that the lose of torque only happens below 3000 rpm. what do you guys think of this??

those are ment for big blocks not ours, you won't get 20 hp and if you had a decent exhaust that will not be noticed.

They are menant for V8's and some of the larger V6's.
Www.jcwhitney.com sells them dirt cheap, but I don't reccomend them.

#1...loud as hell
#2...won't really work like they claim on a I4 engine...
