Default Simple Green to clean engine bay

Is Simple Green safe to use on the engine and hoses to clean it up? Do I use it straight from the bottle or do I have to add water to dilute it? After using Simple Green, what can I apply to make everything shiny?

If your worried Delute it 50/50, after you clean the bay, spray either Silicone Spray or Tire Shine to protect it

SG will conduct electricity, it's an ionic solution. Don't get it on the connectors.
