if you seriously want to go forced induction, and if s/c is actaully a waste for the beta ( i wouldn't know) then your best bet would be sell your header for a little loss in funds. rather than spend more and do something thats "gonna suck".

what about s/c's on the alpha though? just curious, i know jeff did it, ...and hes got one for sale wink

If your going to insist on keeping your header, then you might want to consider going the nitrous route.

why not just do a progressive nitrous setup? It will give you even better results and youll save money. No tuning, no nothing. Just a direct port with some nice nozzles to feed each cyl.

She never did get a dyno done when she upgraded the pulley from 10psi to 18psi. She DYNOED 180whp & 166ft lbs torque with the 10psi pulley though so we guestimated it was running around 240-250whp. It was enough to take Supra TT's She built the bottom end with Ross pistons & Cunningham rods. ARP head studs, full intercooled SC kit & Tec-II engine management. She never even touched the head, IM or TB. That was with stock cams, exhaust manifold & cat also. She only put a 2.5" Apex-i exhaust on it. She still has the SC kit sitting here in our house.

Well, I feel that no one has done a s/c kit well for the BETA. It would be nice to see a decent s/c because it will be easier to meet with certain state side strict emission/inpsection tolerences.

Also, I believe anything over 12psi on a BETA cannot be achieved becuase the belt is a 4chunk, and would begin to slip with that size of pulley, and to use a higher boost pulley would require 6 or 8 chunk belt.

A s/c might kick ass if the rumors come out of hyundais CVVT BETA.

Ok, so we might not have the greatest supercharger kits available here.

But ask Cheuk, I'm sure there has there are plenty of quality supercharger setups in Korea that still don't work well.

If anything, I'd like to see a centrifugal S/C on the beta engine.
