Ridiculous Belt Squealing

kc- that happen to me. Just loosen the bolt thats near the manifold and tighten up the belt. Its the powersteering pump thats why when u turn it squeeks.

Actually, if it squeals or makes noise around turns, it could be either the alternator or power steering belt.

I know power steering is the logical choice, however check all the belts.

Are you sure the right size belts are on?

I had a similar problem a few months ago.

Making noise around turns, turns out the alternator belt was the wrong size. Go figure.

mine only does it at idle when I'm turning (like when I'm pulling out of a parking space and turn the wheel when the car isn't moving at all) it's never done it while driving. It also only happens when it's near freezing. it's wierd and annoying.
